Bruno (2009)

After Borat took over America in 2006, Sacha Baron Cohen creation arrives on the big screen again. This time with Bruno, a gay Austrian model bringing his antics to the States.

Bruno has his own fashion based television show, Funkyzeit, the most popular German-language show of its kind outside of Germany. After he disgraces himself in front of his Funkyzeit fan base, he is ruined in German speaking Europe.

Feeling dejected and heart broken when all is lost, he met Lutz (his former assistant’s assistant), who still believes that Bruno has something special in him. Together they travel to United States searching for the fame that he desperately desires.

At the States, everything still went wrong for him. So they (Bruno and Lutz) left for the African nations because he found out that every famous person has to do a good deed to the world like Bono (from U2) contributed to AIDS. So he set on a journey to get a peace treaty sign between the Israel and Palestine which obviously failed. While on the way back to the US, he adopted a son which he traded with an I-pod because Madonna, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie has adopted child!

He was invited to a talk show that discuss about “Single Parents” and there were lots of commotion about it. His son, OJ, was later confiscated by the welfare department. Feeling empty once again, this is when he makes out with Lutz and Lutz confessed his love for him. Bruno however oppose that he was high and will never fall in love with him. They parted ways!

Bruno decided to lead a healthy life and to become normal. He wanted to be straight and seek professional help. He attended swinger’s parties (sex parties), martial art classes with dildo actions and etc to adjust his life. Several months later, he was a part of a wrestling program host. He was campaigning that “My asshole is for Shitting!” and one of the audience confronted him. Bruno challenges him on stage and a fight broke out. When Bruno realized that it was Lutz, he make out to him in the ring and the audience were surprised. They later got married and they had OJ back.

This movie will be banned by many countries and Malaysia will be one of them. It contains sexual explicit scenes which include gay activities, nudity, offensive and religious discrimination acts. This movie is definitely not for the young and religious people but if you are looking for a good laugh and not entirely offended with gay activities, this movie will brighten up your day. It is even better and more violent than Borat!
